China News Service, Beijing, August 19 (Reporter Ying Ni) The "Performance Ticket Service and Technical Specifications" (hereinafter referred to as the "Specifications") promulgated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China was officially implemented on August 19. This is China's first The industry standard in the field of performance ticketing.

This move was interpreted by the industry as a solution to the long-standing chaos such as "scalper tickets".

The performance ticketing market has been chaotic for a long time, and the "scalper ticket" has a premium of more than ten times that makes people criticize. Even if relevant institutions and platforms have jointly attacked the "scalper", the symptoms are not cured, and the effect is minimal.

The relevant person in charge of the China Performance Industry Association who took the lead in drafting the "Specifications" told reporters on the 19th that the industry standards issued this time will focus on unifying the basic requirements of the content, specifications, coding, production, and distribution of the national performance ticketing, and unifying the national performance ticketing. Specific requirements for generation, printing, ticket collection, printing, etc.; unified nationwide performance ticket purchase, ticket checking, and refund of the entire process of standardized services; formulate the basic rules of ticketing for the performance industry.

On this basis, the collection and effective supervision of the national performance ticketing market data will be realized.

This means that the coding of each performance ticket will have a national unified standard.

Including performance venues, performances, performance types, ticket management system and ticket sales system in parallel.

The person in charge also reminded that the implementation of the "Regulations" from the 19th does not mean that there will be no "scalper tickets" immediately.

Because there will be a period of time to implement the standards nationwide from the date of implementation.

In the process of implementing the standard, the association will continue to promote the promotion and explanation of the standard, and help each ticketing system to carry out standard certification.

In this process, all previous ticketing systems can carry out normal ticket sales.

"When most of the standard certification work is over, if the relevant government departments issue further administrative requirements, the ticketing system that has not been certified by the standard at that time may not continue to be used for performance ticket management and sales."

The China Performance Industry Association believes that, compared with the path taken by the film industry in recent years, the film industry has developed rapidly. The assistance of a fully-certified, unified and open ticketing system across the country cannot be underestimated. The effect of market information digitalization to feed back the industry is obvious to all.

Especially after 2012, the film ticketing regulations have promoted the "cake" of the film industry to grow bigger and bigger, doubling and increasing rapidly in successive years.

As far as the performance industry is concerned, only by making the market pie bigger can companies have a larger share.
