On August 18, the east main tower pier girder body of the Jian'an Street Overpass Railway Bridge, which was built by Wuhan Railway Engineering Project Management Company, designed by China Railway Bridge Institute, and undertaken by China Railway Bridge Bureau, was turned in place, and the box girder of the west main tower pier was in place. The successful “hand in hand” above the open space between the Yu tie line and the 6th line between the arrival and departure lines has laid a solid foundation for the full implementation of the cross-Beijing-Guangzhou railway interchange project.
The railway bridge on Jian'an Street crosses Yi'an West Road, Yuhua Connection Line, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and Yi'an Road in order, and is a main urban road connecting Wuhan Baishazhou area and Nanhu area.
The bridge is a steel box girder cable-stayed bridge with a total length of 519.3 meters, of which the main bridge is 245 meters in length. It adopts a high-low tower steel box girder cable-stayed bridge over the railway layout, and the bridge deck is 35.2 meters wide.
The swivel weight of the beam body of the west main tower pier is about 12,000 tons, which has been rotated counterclockwise by 105 degrees on August 17, and the swivel weight of the beam body of the east main tower pier is about 14,000 tons, which requires a counterclockwise rotation of 83 degrees.
It is reported that both the Baishazhou area and the Nanhu area are in the south of Wuchang. Blocked by the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, the east-west traffic between the two areas is very inconvenient. From the Baishazhou area to the Nanhu area, it is necessary to bypass the Wutai Gate.
After the completion of the project, the original half-hour journey will be shortened to less than 5 minutes, and the regional external traffic conditions will be greatly improved. This is of great significance for improving the road network structure in the southern area of Wuchang area and solving the rapid travel of areas along the route.
