[Commentary] On August 11, the X9041 China-Europe Express Train (Xi'an), loaded with 50 cars of goods such as fabrics, passenger elevators, and radiators, departed from Xi'an International Port Station of China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd., all the way to the west. Heading to Almaty in Kazakhstan, this is the 10,000th China-Europe train in Shaanxi.

  Since the first China-Europe Express train in Shaanxi was launched in 2013, the number of China-Europe Express (Xi'an) international lines that depart from Xi’an International Port Station has reached 15 covering 44 countries and regions, basically realizing Central Asia, South Asia, West Asia and Full coverage of major sources of goods in Europe.

The core indicators of China-Europe Express (Xi'an) such as traffic volume, heavy container rate, and freight volume rank first in the country.

  (Starting from January 2021) As of August 10, 2021, the China-Europe Express has opened 2419 trains, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%.

Behind me today, this line of China-Europe trains runs to Almaty, Kazakhstan, with a total of 50 trains.

The main items are cloth, elevators, photovoltaics and other products.

  [Explanation] Bai Kuanfeng said that with the continuous development of the China-Europe Express, the types of goods transported, from the initial drilling equipment, to now cover 9 categories such as textile products, mechanical equipment, rubber products, and electronic products.

Platforms such as international freight trains, cross-border e-commerce pilots, and foreign cargo terminals have sprung up in Xi'an Port.

  In 2020, the epidemic will have a huge impact on the global economy. Shipping and aviation logistics channels are not smooth, and the export of enterprises will be severely affected.

A science and technology company in Shaanxi set its sights on the China-Europe train. On April 26 of that year, the first train departed from Xi'an. Compared with sea transportation, it saved more than half of the transportation time.

  Through this transportation mode of China-Europe Express, on the one hand, it greatly shortens the timeliness of our transportation. On the other hand, during the epidemic, its delivery cycle of this cycle is relatively stable. In this case, it is greatly reduced. This shortened the turnover rate of our company’s funds, and played a very important role in helping and promoting our customers’ timely delivery and customer satisfaction.   [Explanation] It is reported that since the outbreak of the epidemic last year, the China-Europe Express trains have rushed to assist countries along the route with stable transportation capacity, carrying anti-epidemic supplies, and have become a "channel of life" for countries along the "Belt and Road" to help each other and jointly fight the epidemic.

As of August 10 this year, China-Europe Express (Xi'an) has transported 71,000 tons of anti-epidemic materials such as isolation gowns and masks, providing strong support for the development of international anti-epidemic cooperation.

  Currently, the China-Europe Express (Xi’an) radiates to the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and other major sources of goods through the fully-covered international intermodal transport network in the Eurasian region and the "+Western Europe" assembly system, attracting transit goods such as Japan and South Korea. In the three-party international market, goods from the countries along the “Belt and Road” and 29 provinces in China are distributed and distributed in the Port of Xi’an.

Xi'an has become a cargo distribution and transit hub that radiates the whole country and connects Europe and Asia, and the agglomeration and radiation effects of China-Europe Express (Xi'an) have become more prominent.
