Continuing its electrification, Volkswagen is adding a new model to its portfolio with the ID.5, a coupe version of the ID.4 SUV.

Logically, it uses the engines of the latter including the sporty GTX version.

Equipped with 2 electric motors (one at the front and one at the rear), this variation will be presented in the form of a camouflaged car at the next IAA in Munich which will start on September 7th.

The GTX will benefit from the largest battery in the range, namely a unit with a capacity of 77 kWh.

Capable of traveling 497 km on a full charge, this car benefits from the ID concept line.

Crozz presented in 2017 already.
