The Personal Training Account (CPF) replaced the Individual Right to Training (DIF) from 2015. In total, 8.5 billion euros were transferred for the hours acquired from the old system to the new one. , according to data from the Ministry of Labor relayed by

Le Figaro

, Thursday.

And 7.28 million people made these transfers which ended on July 5.

However, the amount of acquired rights which were not transferred before the cut-off date was not communicated.

During transfers, the DIF hours were converted into euros on the personal training accounts.

One hour of DIF thus corresponded to 15 euros.

For a person who had never used his individual right to training, this represented a maximum of 120 hours, or a potential on his CPF of 1,285 euros.

Watch out for scams

All employees, unemployed and civil servants have a dedicated CPF account.

With this device, each beneficiary can search for, register for and pay for the training of their choice, depending on the money available in their account.

The total amount on the CPF is however limited to 5,000 euros.

As

Le Figaro

reminds us

, organizations offering training have increased the number of emails and calls to convince employees to follow one of their programs.

But some trainings are scams.

For more than a year, 10 to 12 million euros in training credits, concerning more than 10,000 user accounts, have been hijacked by crooks, according to the Caisse des Dépôts, the body that manages the CPF.
