Travelers from the Emirates to Britain on the "amber" list

Britain announced, on Wednesday, the transfer of travelers from the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Germany, Austria, Norway and India from the “red list” to the “amber” list, starting next Sunday morning, according to British media.

The British authorities also decided to add Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, Romania and Norway to the green list, as stated in the latest update of the traffic lights system for international travel.

The British Ministry of Transport stated that the seven countries "have proven to pose a low risk to public health in the United Kingdom."

The move means arrivals from these destinations can avoid being quarantined when entering the UK, regardless of their vaccination status.

They will also have to take one test within two days of their arrival, as well as submit a negative test result before leaving for the UK.
