Dubai Chamber introduces Latin American companies to Expo 2020 Dubai

Recently, Dubai Chamber, represented by its foreign representative offices in Latin America, organized a virtual seminar entitled: “Expo 2020: Your Platform for Doing Business in Dubai”, where the symposium attracted the participation of more than 600 participants from 20 countries, representing a wide range of leaders and representatives The business community in diverse sectors.

The webinar aimed to promote Expo 2020 Dubai, as it is an ideal platform for companies in Latin America to enhance their global presence, do business in Dubai, and educate businessmen from the region about the competitive advantages that the emirate offers to investors.

During the symposium, directors of Dubai Chamber's representative offices in Brazil, Panama and Argentina presented an overview of the plans and strategies of the various Latin American countries for Expo 2020 Dubai, in addition to their expectations for the global event.

Director of External Offices at the Dubai Chamber, Omar Khan, stressed the importance of these webinars, as they are an ideal platform for introducing Latin American companies to the importance of Expo 2020 Dubai, and its role in attracting investments, concluding trade agreements and enhancing international cooperation.

Khan indicated that the Dubai Chamber is the official business integration partner for Expo 2020 Dubai, focusing its efforts on promoting the mega event in the global arena, communicating with business communities across the region, and exploring new avenues for economic cooperation, through the Global Business Forum for Countries Latin America 2022, which will be held on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai.

The virtual seminar concluded with video messages from the Commissioners General of Chile, Argentina, Panama, Peru, Colombia, Guatemala, Paraguay and Costa Rica, who spoke about their country's preparations for Expo 2020 Dubai, the importance of the event for the region, as well as the expansion of relations between the Emirati business communities and Latin America.
