[Explanation] A few days ago, the reporter met Zhang Qiaowu who was busy in a willow forest where golden cicadas were cultivated in Guantao County.
Zhang Qiaowu said that because he had no experience in breeding golden cicadas, he took a lot of detours in the first two years. It was not until 2012 that he successfully hatched golden cicada larvae, cicada ants, using the natural "knowing monkey".

(I) later discovered that ants and mice are particularly harmful to golden cicadas (cicada ants), and I began to look for ways to rectify them. Now I have eliminated these two natural enemies that eat golden cicadas (cicada ants), and now the output has also increased. .
[Explanation] According to Zhang Qiaowu, the breeding cycle of golden cicadas is 2 to 3 years. The cicada ants are scattered under the tree, and the benefits begin to be seen in the third year.
It's midsummer, and this is the season when the golden cicada breaks out of the ground. When night falls, Zhang Qiaowu uses a flashlight to catch the golden cicada.
After 10 years of development, Zhang Qiaowu’s golden cicada farming scale has now grown to more than 200 acres, with an annual comprehensive income of more than 1 million yuan.
