 Ladies and gentlemen, Israel has a budget,

” proclaims

Naftali Bennett

.

And after a marathon government meeting, the Israeli prime minister adds: “

 After three years of stagnation, the country is getting back to work.

Since 2018, in fact, no budget had been adopted in Israel against the backdrop of the

political impasse

.

For fiscal year 2021, the budget will be around 113 billion euros;

118 billion for 2022.

Among the big winners in this race for credit, the Israeli public health system put to the test during the pandemic period.

But especially the IDF, the Israeli army and other security agencies in Israel who see their budgets considerably increased to face, according to Israeli officials, the

Iranian threat

.

But all is not settled.

The new budget law will be presented to the Israeli parliament in the coming weeks.

If it is not passed, the Knesset will automatically be dissolved and 90 days later new elections will be held in Israel.
