This 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser will be offered at a sale organized in the USA on August 13th by Bonhams. It currently belongs to one of the biggest players in the world, which is also selling its Airstream caravan that it has used on film sets for years.

Hanks has indeed made some changes.
The engine has been replaced by a 4.3l Chevrolet LS V8 with ad-hoc gearbox (but connected to the original 4x4 transmission), the suspensions have been modified for more comfort, the interior is equipped with air conditioning , a fairly high-end hi-fi system and… original Porsche electric seats (original seats provided).
Honestly, when we see the auctions reached by barely presentable "Fast & Furious" cars, it is surprising that a Tom Hanks car is so low estimated.
