Websites for fuel distribution companies announced, yesterday, that the prices of gasoline (gasoline) and its derivatives “Super 98”, “Khossy 95”, and “E Plus 91” recorded new heights, starting from the first of next August, with an increase of 12 fils per liter. The price of a liter of diesel has increased by three fils, compared to the prices of this July, according to the prices approved by the Committee to Follow-up on Fuel Prices of its Various Kinds, including value-added tax at 5%.

As of the beginning of next August, the price of a liter of “Super 98” gasoline will increase from 2.47 dirhams previously to 2.58 dirhams, an increase of 11 fils, while the price of a liter of “Special 95” gasoline will increase from 2.35 dirhams per liter to reach 2.47 dirhams, an increase of 12 fils.

As for the price of a liter of E-Plus 91 petrol, it increases from 2.28 dirhams to 2.39 dirhams, an increase of 11 fils per liter.

In turn, the price of a liter of diesel rose from 2.42 dirhams per liter previously, to 2.45 dirhams, an increase of three fils.

Fuel prices recorded increases during the month of July, with values ​​ranging between eight and nine fils per liter of gasoline, and an increase of 12 fils per liter of diesel, compared to the prices of the previous June.

It is noteworthy that the fuel price standards adopted by the Ministry of Energy and Industry are determined on a monthly basis, according to the average world oil prices, up or down, after adding the operating costs of the distribution companies.
