Consumption Nestlé recalls ice cream of 46 different varieties due to ethylene oxide contamination

These are the brands of the ice cream varieties of

affected by the contamination of the carcinogenic ethylene oxide in the stabilizing additive E410 (also called locust bean gum or carob) that are being withdrawn from the establishments.
At the moment, the Swiss food multinational has not made public the list of affected products.
For its part, Facua-Consumidores en Acción has published a list, not necessarily complete, with the
data from the supermarkets
of alerts of withdrawal from the marketing of Froneri-Nestlé products and which have been disseminated internally by the chains of Carrefour, Dia and Covirán.

The manufacturer Froneri-Nestlé explained yesterday that they received the alert about the
accidental contamination
of said ingredient supplied by one of their suppliers and are
"quickly withdrawing all the affected batches
from the points of sale."
Froneri clarified in a subsequent statement that "only
very specific batches
of certain products
are affected
."
Facua has asked the multinational Nestlé to make public the name of the ice creams affected by the contamination, since it says that Froneri at the moment has only provided an application on its website in which to type the batch number of the product to inform if whether or not it is contaminated.
It has also requested the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) of the Ministry of Consumption to publish the list of contaminated ice creams and criticizes the fact that it has not done so to date.
The Aesan has published a statement on its website.
