Chance of calendars: barely one day after telling you about the resurrection of a rally legend, the Renault 5 Turbo, we learn that the Lancia Delta Integrale will in turn come back to life.

Rest assured, this one is not an electrified version either.

Whoever is responsible for the revival would not allow it.

Triple champion

Because the man behind the project is none other than Miki Biasion, double WRC World Champion (1988-1989), and 17 world rally victories, including 16 in Lancia Delta. Biasion is so attached to the Delta that he necessarily owns several, that he now runs a restoration workshop dedicated to the Delta, and it is with some of them that he travels on a daily basis.

His project ?

Produce and market improved replicas of a specific Delta: the Evo Martini Racing.

And Biasion's reputation has enabled it to include other big names in its project: the equipment supplier Sparco will take care of the leather interior, and Michelin will supply the Pilot Sport.

The Martini de Biasion will obviously be developed from Lancia Delta Integrale sourced on the second-hand market, and his most important idea is to modify the engines to bring them to the "competition" power of the time, namely about 300 hp.

Now the bad news: the production plan has only 8 copies, billed between 250,000 and 300,000 €.

Note: an authentic Lancia Delta Integrale Evo Martini is currently trading between 150,000 and 200,000 €.
