With 5.984 million unemployed, France falls below the threshold of 6 million unemployed. This figure is generally the most representative of the trend. What is certain is that the wave of bankruptcies and the explosion in the number of job seekers feared at the start of the crisis did not occur thanks to the gigantic aid plan. It remains to be seen what the recovery will give with the new measures put in place due to the soaring of the Delta variant.
