obtained a net profit of 351 million euros, which represents an increase of 4.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, thanks to the good performance of all its businesses and, fundamentally, due to the

recovery of toll road traffic of Abertis

.

Specifically, the lifting of restrictions on mobility within countries has boosted traffic by 22.4% in the first half, contributing 77 million to the group's gross operating profit (Ebitda) and 62 million to euros to net profit.

In this way,

ACS 'ebitda improved by 14.6% in this period

, to 737 million euros, although sales were affected by the exchange rate, especially by the negative evolution of 9% of the US dollar against the euro, and fell by 3.5%, to 13,330 million euros.

North America

accounted for 60% of all turnover, followed by Australia, with 19%;

from Europe, with 17%;

from Asia, with 3%;

and from South America, the remaining 1%.

Only the United States, Australia, Spain, Canada and Germany contribute 92% of total sales.

The

order book as

of June 2021 stood at 63,993 million euros, growing 3.3% in comparable terms compared to the first half of last year, that is, adjusted for the evolution of the exchange rate and the agreement to sell Industrial Services to Vinci for almost 5,000 million euros, completed last April.
