China News Service, Beijing, July 27 (Reporter Zhou Yin) The reporter learned from the Ministry of Transport of China that as of 7:00 on the 27th, 6 sections of 6 expressways, 16 national highways, and 26 highways were damaged by heavy rainfall in Henan. Of the 91 sections of provincial roads, 4 sections of 4 expressways have been rushed through, and 54 sections of 8 national roads and 15 provincial roads have been restored to traffic.

The remaining sections are still struggling to get through.

As of 7:00 on the 27th, most of the Henan Expressway Control Toll Stations and shut down service areas have resumed traffic and operations.

At present, 375 toll stations on Henan Expressway are normally open, 22 are under control, and 6 are closed.

There are 147 pairs of 148 pairs in the service area that are normally open to business, and 1 pair is closed due to flood discharge.

Among the 24 toll stations of the Zhengzhou Ring Expressway, except for the closure of Yingtaogou Station, other toll stations can pass normally.

According to the Ministry of Transport, a total of 1,046 flood-damaged Henan Expressways have been rushed through, 379 have been rushed through, and 667 are still being rushed to repair. There are no vehicles or people stranded.

In addition, in terms of ordinary national and provincial roads, among the 37 emergency repair sections of Henan’s 8 national roads and 11 provincial roads, 23 are expected to be restored to traffic at the end of July, and 14 roads will be inundated due to flooding. They will be allowed to pass after the accumulation of water subsides.

There are 1,685 rural roads blocked in Henan province, and 333 village roads have been rushed through, and 1352 are still under rush repair. The unrushed road sections are mainly concentrated in Anyang, Xinxiang, Zhengzhou, Hebi, Xuchang and other cities.

The Ministry of Transport pointed out that there are currently three main reasons for the unscrambled passages of rural roads in Henan: First, the Jialu River and Weihe River discharge floods. The floods in some cities and counties have not yet receded, and rushing work cannot be carried out at present.

The second is that the roadbed of dangerous road sections in mountainous areas has been destroyed as a whole, with a large amount of filling and a long period of rush through; some road sections have a large amount of collapse, and it takes a certain time to clean up.

Third, the current disaster situation in some cities and counties is still expanding, especially on the banks of the Weihe River. The flood has not yet receded, and continuous soaking of rural roads will cause roadbeds and roads to be destroyed by water.
