At the press conference, Li Changxun, deputy director of the Henan Provincial Emergency Management Department, informed that since July 16, as of 12:00 on the 26th, this round of heavy rainfall has caused 12.9074 million in 150 counties (cities, districts) and 1,558 towns in the province. People were affected and 69 people died due to the disaster.
According to the report, Henan province currently has 675,500 people who have been transferred from danger to emergency (a total of 933,800 people have been transferred from danger), and that 872,900 people are currently being relocated (total resettlement of 1,470,800 people), and 157,300 people are currently in need of emergency life assistance (cumulative). 338,300 people were assisted in life); the area affected by crops was 972.1 thousand hectares, the area affected was 419.9 thousand hectares, and the area with no harvest was 108.9 thousand hectares; the collapsed houses were 13,943 houses, 38,643 houses, 32,279 houses, 115,687 houses were seriously damaged, and 109,905 houses, 295,319 houses were generally damaged. The direct economic loss was 71.529 billion yuan.

According to the report, on July 25, the whole province of Henan invested more than 118,000 people and more than 4180 equipments (sets) in flood fighting and rescue.
Among them: the People's Liberation Army, the Armed Police Force, and the militia put in 19,762 troops, 669 boats, and 251 construction machinery on the same day; the national comprehensive fire rescue team deployed a total of 6,646 commanders, 1,047 fire trucks, 346 boats, and 311 sets of drainage pumps; A total of 313 professional rescue teams, more than 28,000 people, and more than 6,500 sets of equipment were invested; the province's social teams registered 190, 3021 people, and 780 sets of equipment to participate in rescue and rescue.
The notification also stated that the National Development and Reform Commission dispatched 17 professional rescue teams to Zhengzhou to participate in rescue; the Ministry of Emergency Response dispatched 34 professional rescue teams to Xinxiang and Hebi to participate in rescue; the Ministry of Water Resources dispatched 9 sets of mobile drainage pumping stations to assist Henan Province; the State Grid dispatched nationwide 10,000 electric power repair personnel from 26 provinces and regions went to Henan Province to repair electric power facilities; China Aneng actively invested in the emergency rescue of Weihe breach in Junxian County.
