[Explanation] On July 26, the 100-day countdown to the opening of the 4th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the 4th CIIE) was held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai).

Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, said that the 4th CIIE will still set up six exhibition areas. The current contracted exhibition area has reached the expected target of 360,000 square meters, and the focus of work has shifted to organizing exhibitions and attracting investment.

[Concurrent period] Sun Chenghai, deputy director of China International Import Expo Bureau, achieved the expected goals on schedule for the 4th CIIE's corporate exhibition recruitment.

The number of Fortune 500 and industry leading companies that signed up to participate in the exhibition exceeded the previous one, with a return rate of more than 80%. At the same time, more than 30 exhibitors were exhibiting for the first time; many "hidden" champions who occupy a leading position in the industry segment will also participate in the Expo. Debut at the meeting.

[Explanation] According to reports, exhibition organizations from Japan, Denmark, Poland, New Zealand and other countries have expanded their exhibition areas and organized more small and medium-sized enterprises that represent their country's characteristics and manufacturing levels to participate.

After preliminary investigations, a large number of new products, new technologies and new services will achieve the "world premiere and China's first exhibition" at the 4th CIIE.

[Concurrent] Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, updated the theme of the exhibition: On the one hand, it implements the concept of green and low-carbon development, innovates display themes, and establishes low-carbon energy and environmental protection technology, biomedicine, smart travel, green smart home appliances and On the other hand, service innovation drives the development strategy, and pilot innovation incubation areas are set up in the equipment, medical, and automobile exhibition areas to build a platform for overseas high-quality innovation resources to meet domestic market needs.

[Explanation] The National Exhibition is an important part of the CIIE. According to the arrangement, the 4th CIIE National Exhibition will invite willing countries to use the official website of the CIIE to carry out online exhibitions and display the comprehensive image of the country in multiple forms and flexibly. Introduce relevant situations in the trade and investment industry and other fields.

[Concurrent] Sun Chenghai (we), deputy director of China International Import Expo Bureau, will use virtual reality, three-dimensional modeling and other technical means for the first time to build a standardized digital exhibition hall for participating countries, show the country characteristics of participating countries by theme, and set up Interactive function to enhance the effect of online display.

[Explanation] The 4th CIIE will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to November 10, 2021.
