Tesla stock was one of the winners on Monday on a hesitant Wall Street.

The maker of electric cars will release quarterly figures after the close of trading.

Tesla closed more than 2 percent higher.

CEO Elon Musk's company reported having produced and delivered more than 200,000 cars in the past quarter.

This further increased production compared to the first three months of this year.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.2 percent higher at 35,144.31 points.

The broad S&P 500 rose 0.2 percent to 4,422.30 points and the technology exchange Nasdaq remained virtually unchanged at 14,840.71 points.

With the results of the major tech funds Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft and Google parent Alphabet and an interest rate decision by the Federal Reserve, it will be a busy week on the stock exchanges in New York.
