"Yigong" means "beautiful and contented place" in Tibetan.

Yigong Tea Farm is located in Bomi County, Linzhi City, Tibet Autonomous Region, with an average elevation of more than 2,000 meters. It is the first tea field in Tibet and the highest tea field in the world.

The warm and humid air from the Indian Ocean penetrates into the plateau along the Yarlung Zangbo Valley, bringing warm and humid climate and abundant precipitation to Yigong tea farms and surrounding areas.

The clouds and mist over the tea field seemed to be able to tear off a piece of it with just one hand.

The warm air is applied to the face, and every pore is breathing.

In the distance are towering mountains, covered with snow in winter.

When the snow melts and flows down the mountain, it is the sweetest spring water.

In the end, it flows into the tea farm and nourishes every tea tree.

  The tea products of Yigong Tea Farm are relatively rich, mainly featuring organic plateau green tea. The main brands are Xueyu Chaji, Linzhi Spring Green, Yigong Yunwu, Xueyu Yinfeng, black tea is mainly Tibetan black tea, and some ethnic teas. And souvenir tea cakes.

Up to now, Yigong Tea Farm has 5145 mu of tea gardens, of which more than 3000 mu can be put into production. In 2020, a total of 21,000 catties of fine tea will be produced.
