The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology immediately launched an emergency response plan and organized four basic telecommunications companies, including China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Tower, to carry out emergency communications support overnight.

  As of 8 o'clock on the 23rd, a total of 61,900 base stations have been decommissioned due to disasters in Henan Province, 44,300 base stations have been restored, and 17,600 are still decommissioned (the total number of base stations is 454,000, accounting for 3.87% of the total number of base stations). There were 3,359 optical cables with a total of 3,500 kilometers, and 1,599 cables with a total of 2,291 kilometers were rushed to repair, affecting 326,000 fixed network users and 977,000 mobile network users.

Among them, 35,200 base stations were decommissioned in Zhengzhou due to the disaster, 26,900 base stations have been restored, and 8,300 base stations are still decommissioned (the total number of base stations is 79,000, accounting for 10.5% of the total number of base stations), and 566 optical cables are damaged, a total of 1,223 kilometers. It has rushed to repair 541 951 kilometers, affecting 143,000 fixed network users and 382,000 mobile network users.

  Henan province has dispatched 30,300 emergency personnel, 8,237 emergency vehicles, 8,018 generators, 148 satellite phones, and sent more than 52 million short messages.

Among them, the communications industry in Zhengzhou dispatched 11,700 emergency personnel, 4,607 emergency vehicles, and 6,302 power generators.
