The supermarket chain Rewe has recalled creamed spinach from its own brand Beste Wahl.

Affected are 500-gram packs of portioned frozen spinach of the "mildly spiced" variety with the best before date April 2023, as announced on Thursday on the consumer portal food warning.de.

It could not be ruled out that there are thin metal chips in individual packaging, it said to justify.

According to the manufacturer Ardo, this affects products with batch numbers 141096 and 141097 in all federal states except the city states of Bremen and Hamburg.

Consumers are advised not to consume the product.

There was also a recall for a ready-made salad from the Edeka chain.

On Thursday, the manufacturer Gartenfrisch Jung recalled the product “Pulled Pork and Country Potatoes” in the 200-gram tray with the best before dates 23.07.2021, 24.07.2021, 26.07.2021 and 27.07.2021.

Controls have shown that the meat marinade may contain small amounts of mustard.

Since mustard is not declared on the packaging, consumption can lead to reactions in allergy sufferers.

The article was offered nationwide primarily at the Edeka and Marktkauf stores except in the federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Customers who have bought the product can return it for a refund of the purchase price without presenting the receipt.
