In detail, the sales official at the “Sultan International Sweets” store, Abdo Qandam, said that “the outlets specialized in the field of sweets, especially the Arab ones, are witnessing during the Eid al-Adha period, great rates of growth in demand for them, at rates estimated at 30% compared to normal periods,” pointing to That «the request includes loose sweets and ready-made boxes, which are accepted by some because they are suitable for Eid gifts among family members».

For his part, the director of sales at the “Al-Halabi Sweets” store, Abdulaziz Shaaban, said that “the current period is witnessing varying rates of turnout, with rates estimated at more than 30%, to purchase sweets products of all kinds, in preparation for the Eid al-Adha season.” It is expected that the next two days will witness a continuation of growth rates in the demand for buying sweets products, with some people preferring to buy sweets products at late times, on the night of Eid or the first day of Eid.”

For his part, Karls Heshmat, the sales official at the Lareen Sweets store, added that "the demand for sweets products has been linked to the rituals of preparing for the holidays for consumers of Arab nationalities, which makes the current period witness a growing demand estimated at 30% for the purchase of sweets."

He pointed out that "the prices of confectionery products did not witness any increases compared to their indicators during the past year, despite some price changes in a number of raw materials, but the store management is keen to accommodate any variables to maintain price stability."

The sales official at the “Malik Halawat Al Jibn Sweets” shop, Muhammad Qassas, explained that “the demand for buying Arabic sweets, on the occasion of preparing for the Eid al-Adha season, is not concentrated in products without others, but most of the turnout rates include goods that are suitable for presentation to guests during the days of Eid, which They do not expire quickly,” he pointed out, noting that “demand has witnessed a recent estimated growth at rates exceeding 40%, and is expected to witness a greater increase in demand during the next two days.”

An official of one of the Arab sweets stores, who preferred not to be named, added that “the sweet shops did not change their price indicators compared to last year, despite the change in the prices of some raw materials in limited percentages, such as sugar and flour, as a result of the high cost of global shipping fees and the repercussions of the “Corona” pandemic. He pointed out that “the high competitiveness in the sector, and the stores’ interest in preserving their customers, and the attempt to attract new dealers, supported the trend to accommodate any variables in the prices of raw materials, and not to impose any price increases on products.”
