The selection of economic news figures is an important appraisal and commendation activity based on the communication advantages of the national economic media. According to the person in charge of the China Economic Media Association, this year's economic news competition is basically the same as last year in terms of selection scope, selection requirements, selection procedures and standards.
Newspapers, publications, news agencies, radio and television stations, websites, and mobile new media with formal news qualifications can apply for original economic news works (first published from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021) to participate in the review.
Among them, the China Economic Media Association's channels for accepting submissions for participating works remain unchanged, and the China Press Association and China Periodicals Association, as the recommendation units of economic news participating works, accept applications from their respective member units.
The deadline for the submission of entries is August 31, 2021.
It is understood that this year's economic news work awards are divided into four categories: News Report Award, Supervision Report Award, News Comment Award, and Integrated Report Award.
The number of works submitted by the recommending unit shall not exceed 8, and a single award shall not exceed 2, and a series of reports shall be regarded as one work.

The Convergent Reporting Award is
mainly for multimedia reporting and dissemination of economic events, economic phenomena, economic figures, economic issues, etc. It requires a variety of new media methods to conduct fusion reports, with authentic content, fast dissemination, and significant effects.
It is worth noting that the works that can participate in the Fusion Reporting Awards are:
