As the shortage of automotive semiconductors continues for a long time, Renault Samsung Motors' Busan plant will be closed for two days from tomorrow (19th).



Renault Samsung Motors has decided to suspend the operation of its Busan plant for two days tomorrow and the day after tomorrow due to a shortage of semiconductor parts.



In the meantime, Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Motors, and GM Korea have temporarily suspended or reduced production due to a shortage of automotive semiconductors.



An official from Renault Samsung Motors explained, "The global supply shortage of semiconductor parts has protracted and has inevitably been shut down."
