The Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector in the Dubai Economy monitors the markets during the Eid Al-Adha period, to ensure that livestock are available at good prices, and that salon prices do not rise, as the demand for these services and products is energized by consumers during this period.

Director of the Consumer Protection Department, Ahmed Al Zaabi, said: "The emirate's markets are characterized by a variety of options for consumers who can obtain products or services at prices that suit their personal budget, and Dubai Economy will not tolerate taking the necessary measures to correct the situation of violators by returning prices, and fining commercial establishments that take advantage of these seasons without any Logical justifications for raising the price.

Al Zaabi added: “Consumers should follow proper consumption patterns during the holidays to avoid going out of their pre-planned personal budget. In the event of any observation related to price hikes, consumers can file a complaint through the Dubai consumer app, via the consumerrights.ae website, or by calling at 600545555".
