The announcement of the extension of the health pass did not lead to a wave of cancellations, except for certain destinations abroad.

On the other hand, tourism professionals note that reservations are down sharply.

"There are hardly any more reservations"

Regarding Spain and Portugal, two destinations popular with the French, those who have already planned everything do not cancel, note the professionals.

On the other hand, the announcement of the health pass put a stop to reservations, notes Jean-Pierre Mas, president of Travel Companies.

"Since Monday, there are almost no more reservations," he told Europe 1. "The French, who were euphoric, have become very passive and wait-and-see."

"Cancellation movements are not extremely important", he continues, "except towards a destination like Tunisia, for which the health situation poses a problem".

No cancellation wave in the campsites

The same goes for the campsites: no wave of cancellations, but a lot of questions from customers, underlines Alain Clamé, president of Homair Vacances campsites.

"Our call centers are bombarded with questions from very worried people, asking 'Can we go to the restaurant, to the swimming pool?'.

"This year, we had managed to make foreigners come back a little. We did all this work ... And at the last moment, customers said to themselves 'Is this really reasonable?'", He concludes. .

Finally, the announcements at the start of the week did not trigger a wave of cancellations in the trains either.
