Peng Huagang said that in the first half of the year, central enterprises achieved a cumulative net profit of 1023.21 billion yuan, breaking through the half-year trillion mark for the first time, an increase of 133.3% year-on-year, an increase of 45.4% over the same period in 2019, and an average increase of 20.6% over the two years.

The total profit achieved was 1316.43 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 116.7% and 39% longer than the same period in 2019.

  Peng Huagang said that in the first half of the year, central enterprises achieved a total operating income of 17.1 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.2%, an increase of 18.2% over the same period in 2019, and an average increase of 8.7% over the two years.

  Peng Huagang said at the press conference that since the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the industry that has been most impacted by central SOEs is the air transport industry.

Not only China, but also international airlines have been greatly affected.

However, our country soon resumed production, the economy and society resumed normal operations, and these industries are gradually recovering.

On the whole, this year is obviously better than the same period in 2020.

  In the first half of this year, the total turnover of the three central air transport companies increased by 38.8%, passenger transportation increased by 63.1%, cargo and mail transportation increased by 25.2%, and the main business volume has returned to more than 70% of the same period in 2019.

In the first half of the year, it achieved a year-on-year increase of nearly 30% in total operating income, a significant reduction of more than 15 billion in losses over the same period last year.

  Peng Huagang said that according to the domestic epidemic prevention and control requirements, overseas flights have not fully returned to normal, and the flow of personnel must meet the domestic epidemic prevention and control requirements. Charter flights and other forms will be adopted to coordinate the dispatch and vacation rotation of enterprise employees.

Up to now, 170,000 employees have been dispatched, of which 20,000 have been dispatched by chartered flights, 170,000 have been received, and 10,000 have been received by chartered flights.

  In addition, he said that at present, the central enterprises participating in the “Belt and Road” construction project have not stopped production or production due to the impact of the epidemic, and “generally, it is quite good.”
