The Chairman of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, Saeed Al Suwaidi, discussed during his meeting yesterday with the Consul General of the Republic of Singapore, Lou Pete Chen, ways of joint cooperation between the authority and Singaporean institutions with expertise in the field of energy, water and innovation to find sustainable and innovative solutions using modern technologies, stressing the authority's keenness to Consolidating relations of cooperation and joint work with Singaporean institutions.

The Chairman of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority stressed that the authority is constantly evaluating and developing the strategic plan in all areas of its work, whether energy production and distribution or desalination, water distribution and treatment according to the best standards, and the application of the control and control center system on electricity, natural gas and water networks, to reduce the percentage of waste and detection of leaks. He added that the authority is keen to exchange experiences and benefit from the advanced energy management system in Singapore, which is one of the countries that have recorded global achievements in the field of energy and water management and treatment, noting that the opportunities for cooperation between the authority and specialized institutions in Singapore in a number of future projects are multiple, especially in the areas of efficiency Producing energy, reducing losses from networks, and training technical cadres, in order to be able to keep pace with development and smart transformation in the provision of services and benefit from global experiences and expertise.

For his part, Le Pet Chen reviewed the stages of technical and technical development that Singapore has witnessed in the field of electricity networks, energy and water management and how to market them, within an investment environment that ensures sustainability and preserves the environment.
