Mercedes has just unveiled the first photos of its new top-of-the-range SL convertible and, surprise, we discover that the car is reviving the 2 + 2-seater concept abandoned since the SL series R129, marketed in 1989. But beware: it is about indeed a 2 + 2 and not a 4-seater, the rear seats being reserved for passengers measuring less than 1.50 m.

If not in use, these spaces can be used as additional storage space.

Another characteristic feature of this new SL: the mixture of analog and digital solutions that Mercedes calls “hyper-analog”.

Killer detail: the large touch screen of the center console tilts electrically in several positions to avoid the glare of the sun.
