According to preliminary calculations, the gross domestic product in the first half of the year was 5,32167 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.7% at comparable prices, a decrease of 5.6 percentage points from the first quarter; an average growth rate of 5.3% over the two years, and an average growth rate of 0.3 percentage points faster than the first quarter.

In terms of quarters, the first quarter increased by 18.3% year-on-year, and the two-year average growth was 5.0%; the second quarter increased by 7.9%, and the two-year average growth was 5.5%.
