Yigao Village, Zhili Town, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is adjacent to Taihu Lake and is a typical traditional village in the Mugang area of ​​South Taihu Lake.

  In 2014, Yigao Village was included in the list of traditional Chinese villages and a key village for protection and utilization of historical and cultural villages in Zhejiang Province. In 2016, the Taihu Miaogang Water Conservancy Irrigation Project with Yigao Village as the main node was successfully applied for the heritage and became a world cultural heritage.

From then on, the ancient village took the "express" of the cultural and tourism industry. The villagers opened restaurants and homestays in front of their homes, and their days were prosperous. On holidays, tourists would be in an endless stream.

  According to statistics, in 2019, the collective economic income of Yigao Village was more than 600,000 yuan (RMB, the same below), and in 2020, the collective economic income of the village exceeded 3 million yuan.
