local development

It is noteworthy that EGA has been developing its own technology locally for more than 25 years, and in 2016 it became the first Emirati industrial company to license its core industrial technologies internationally, by exporting DX + Ultra technology to Aluminum Bahrain.

In November 2020, EGA signed an agreement with New Aluminum Colombia, which will license DX + Ultra technology to develop the first aluminum production facility in the Latin country.
