After the transition period (from January 1, 2024), illegal electric three- and four-wheelers are not allowed to drive on the road, and are not allowed to park in public places such as roads, squares, and parking lots.
Those who drive or park illegally on the road will be investigated and punished by law enforcement agencies in accordance with the law.
The "Notice" requires that the competent departments of postal delivery, landscaping, and environmental sanitation shall formulate management measures for the use of electric three- and four-wheelers in their respective industries, strengthen daily management during the transition period, and replace all vehicles with legal vehicles after the transition period.
Electric vehicles used in specific areas such as factories, tourist attractions, and amusement parks are managed in accordance with the regulations for special motor vehicles in the field (factory).
