There are serious hidden worries in the development and utilization of platform enterprise data-

guarding the bottom line of data security

In order to prevent national data security risks, the State Cyberspace Administration of China recently implemented network security reviews of relevant companies and stopped new user registration during the review period.

With the convergence and integration of information technology and human production and life, various types of data have grown rapidly and gathered massively, which has had a major and profound impact on economic development and people's lives.

The "14th Five-Year Plan" and the 2035 long-term goal outline clearly propose to strengthen data protection involving national interests, business secrets, and personal privacy, accelerate the advancement of basic legislation in data security, personal information protection and other fields, and strengthen the security of data resources throughout the life cycle protection.

Related regulatory actions for data security have also continued to unfold.

Yan Xiaoli, deputy director of the Cyber Security Research Institute of CCID Think Tank, believes that if an Internet company operates critical information infrastructure, once the important data collected and generated during its operation is stolen or leaked, it may cause the critical information infrastructure to be interrupted or cease operations. , Not only causes economic losses, but may also endanger national security.

"The digital age means that everything is programmable and everything must be interconnected. The entire world will be built on software. Where there is Internet software, there will be vulnerabilities, network infrastructure will become more complex, and the attack surface will be infinitely expanded. The future network Security attacks will show advanced and large-scale features. All financial and technological warfare is ultimately a cyber warfare. Without cyber security, there would be no national security.” said Zhou Hongyi, founder, chairman and CEO of 360 Group.

In order to standardize data processing activities, ensure data security, promote data development and utilization, protect the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations, and safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, on June 10 this year, the "Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China" passed the 13th session. It was adopted and officially released at the 29th meeting of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and will be implemented on September 1.

Fang Yu, director of the Internet Law Research Center of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, said that the "Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China" focused on establishing various basic systems for data security protection, and improved data classification and classification, important data protection, cross-border data flow and data. Many important systems such as transaction management have formed the top-level design of my country's data security.

This provides an important legal basis for subsequent legislation, law enforcement, and judicial related practices, and provides strong support for the safe and healthy development of the digital economy.

It is worth noting that as network data security is highly valued by the state, network security-related companies are also showing a spurt of growth.

According to the data from the enterprise search, there are 624,000 existing network security-related enterprises in my country.

From the perspective of changes in registrations, there will be an increase of 179,000 in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 135.7%, which is the peak of registrations in the past 10 years.

There were 154,000 new ones in the first half of this year, an increase of 2.1 times year-on-year.

"In recent years, my country's network security industry promotion policies have been continuously increased, the product system has been gradually improved, and the ecological construction has continued to advance, providing a good environment for industrial development." said Wang Zhiqin, vice president of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

Even so, the development of industries and enterprises still cannot keep up with the demands of network security protection.

Data shows that the size of the US cybersecurity market in 2019 was 44.7 billion U.S. dollars, while the size of my country's cybersecurity industry was only 60.8 billion in the same period, which is only one-fifth of the United States, which does not match the size of my country's GDP.

In this regard, Zhao Zhiguo, director of the Information and Communication Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, suggested that the national cyber security industrial parks and technological innovation zones should be used as carriers to make good use of the first set, innovative projects, pilot demonstrations and other policies to accelerate the cultivation and incubation of a group of characteristic security. Enterprises and excellent security solutions to enhance the supply capacity of the network security industry.
