  The report shows that in the second quarter of 2021, with the advent of mid-year "job-hopping" and graduation season, Chinese companies' recruitment demand increased by 48.26% month-on-month, and job delivery increased by 11.81% month-on-month.

Among the nine major urban agglomerations, the demand for recruitment in the northeastern urban agglomeration was relatively active, with an increase of 78.34% month-on-month; the demand for recruitment in the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River also increased rapidly, with an increase of 66%.

  The analysis believes that since April, the three provinces in Northeast China have successively introduced policies to benefit enterprises, creating a good business environment for enterprises, and effectively driving the growth of recruitment demand in the Northeast urban agglomeration.

  From the perspective of job hunting activity, in the second quarter of 2021, job postings in the Pearl River Delta and Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomerations rose the most month-on-month, rising by more than 15%.

In May, the four cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River promoted the integration of human resources and social security work.   First-tier and new first-tier cities are still popular cities for job hunting.

In the second quarter, Shenzhen, Beijing and Chongqing were among the top three popular cities for job hunting, followed by Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Changsha, Dongguan, Hangzhou and Wuhan.

Outside the first-tier cities, Dongguan is the most popular for job hunting, with a month-on-month increase of nearly 30%. Chongqing's attractiveness to job seekers has also increased, with a month-on-month growth rate of more than 20%.

  Among the first-tier cities, Shenzhen and Beijing are still the first choices for workers when applying for jobs. The two major cities not only provide abundant employment opportunities, but also have higher income levels and better career development paths.

In addition, cities with a strong cultural atmosphere such as Chongqing and Chengdu are also popular with job seekers.

  From the perspective of salary, in the second quarter of 2021, the national average salary paid has a certain increase, an increase of 11.16% year-on-year to 8276 yuan (RMB, the same below).

Among them, the salaries paid by Shanghai companies still rank first, with an average monthly salary of 9,926 yuan, followed by Shenzhen and Hangzhou, with monthly salaries of 9,509 and 9,493 yuan respectively.
