global facility

ADNOC is developing a world-class facility for the production of blue ammonia, in the chemicals industry area within the “Taziz” industrial system in Ruwais, which will have a production capacity of 1,000 kilotons per year.

Blue ammonia is made from nitrogen and “blue” hydrogen from natural gas, where hydrocarbons are converted to hydrogen and then to ammonia, with the associated carbon dioxide emissions captured.
