The British Government has confirmed the lifting of the quarantine of those vaccinated with a full schedule who visit countries on the amber list such as Spain as of July 19.

The announcement made by Transport Secretary

Grant Snapps

has been received with open arms by the tourism industry and airlines, as it

opens the doors of 140 countries to 34 million Britons

who have already received both doses.

However, the decision comes amid the rebound caused mainly by the delta variant, with 32,548 cases in the last 24 hours.

The leader of the Labor opposition,

Keir Starmer,

has criticized the lifting of practically all the restrictions of the Covid on July 19 and has accused "premier" Boris Johson of promoting "a summer of chaos and confusion."
