An elderly person in his 70s was victimized by voice phishing, and because of this voice phishing damage, he even had bad credit.

Last March, 75-year-old Kim received a phone call asking for a refund through a staff member who had incorrectly deposited someone else's loan due to a computer error.

[Mr. Kim / Victim of voice phishing: (card company) The representative number is 1588-1688. Immediately after (money) came in, the number called and you should never use the money.]

Mr. Kim found the 6 million won that was deposited without real knowledge and handed it over to a man named a credit card company employee.

However, the man who took the money was not a credit card company employee, but a phone financial fraud withdrawal book, and was arrested two days later by the police.

However, Kim had to receive a request from the credit card company to repay the loan because the loan was normally executed.

[Mr. Kim / Victim of voice phishing: I have never taken a loan, but you put money in it. Isn't it unreasonable to ask for money?]

When the credit card company refused to repay, the credit card company put Kim's name on the delinquent list, making it difficult for Kim to use the card as well as other credit cards.

The credit card company said, "In the loan process, Mr. Kim's card number, expiration date, and security code are normally written, and it is difficult to indemnify the entire amount of the loan as Kim drew the loan himself."

Financial authorities cautioned that even if money was sent incorrectly, there is no case of withdrawing it and returning it through a bank employee.
