Emirates Airlines reveals a new payment method for purchasing tickets

Emirates Airlines today announced the launch of a new account-based payment method for purchasing airline tickets, explaining that the new Emirates Pay solution is now available to customers in Germany and the United Kingdom who purchase tickets through (emirates.com).

The carrier added in a statement that EmiratesPay is an alternative payment method for purchasing airline tickets online by direct debiting from the bank account, where the solution is based on real-time payment, open banking services or payment request.

Emirates Airlines is the first airline in the world to launch this alternative method of payment, backed by a reliable solution developed with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in partnership with Deutsche Bank.
