In an update on its website, the carrier stated that the suspension decision, which began yesterday at 11 pm, was based on instructions from the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia.

It added that travelers who arrive in Saudi Arabia today, corresponding to the fifth of July, or after this date, will not be accepted to travel to it as a final destination.

A spokesperson for the airline said the airline is working closely with affected guests to inform them of changes to their travel plans, and help them adjust them.

The spokesperson advised travelers who booked their tickets through travel agents to contact the relevant travel agency for assistance.

The suspension decision was based on instructions from the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia.
