Japan Post Bank will set a new fee for its ATM = automatic teller machine, which is installed at stations and airports other than post offices and Japan Post Bank stores, from January next year only on weekday nights and holidays. Announced.

According to the announcement, the new fee will be charged for about 7,600 ATMs at the company's ATMs located outside the post office and Japan Post Bank stores such as train stations, airports, and convenience stores.

At these ATMs, we were able to withdraw and deposit savings for free, including at night and on holidays, but we decided to set a new fee because it would be costly to maintain the ATM and handle it at the store counter.

From January 17th next year, a fee of 110 yen will be charged from 8:45 am to 6 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.

At the same time, the fee for the remittance service using cash will be raised at the Japan Post Bank window.

Japan Post Bank says, "I'm sorry to put a burden on the users, but the cost of maintaining the ATM and dealing with it at the store counter is heavy, so I decided to introduce it. I want to make it easy to understand so that it can be understood."
