This Thursday enters into force the new sanitary protocol in companies.

While teleworking is still recommended by the government, the 50% capacity gauge for corporate restaurants is disappearing.

The new protocol also provides for facilitating the vaccination of employees during their working hours.

New step for companies.

As of this Thursday, a new health protocol comes into force in companies and in their canteens.

For the government, there is no question of yet confirming the return of 100% employees to the premises.

The new regulation still recommends a minimum number of telecommuting days per week, for the months of July and August.

If the state encourages employers to keep at least two days of teleworking per week, they will be able to reduce or increase this number with the agreement of employee representatives.

End of the 50% gauge in canteens

While teleworking will remain very present this summer, company canteens will once again be able to accommodate employees at 100% of their capacity.

The sheet on the organization and operation of company restaurants that accompanies the protocol no longer provides for a maximum level of 50%, according to the document from the Ministry of Labor.

It simply indicates that employees must have a seat, where the previous document provided for a maximum of six chairs around the tables, themselves at least two meters from each other.

Small groups of six people around a table will now be accepted.

Vaccination made easy

If the vaccination campaign shows signs of slowing down for the first doses, the protocol also widens the possibilities for employees to be absent to be vaccinated.

Until then, the document indicated that "if the employee chooses to go through his occupational health service, he is authorized to be absent during his working hours".

The document adds that "apart from these situations, employers are expected, in view of public health imperatives, to allow their employees to be absent during working hours to facilitate their access to vaccination. ", specifying that" the employee is invited to approach his employer in order to determine the best way to organize this absence ".
