On June 29, Guangdong Province's first PPP model investment and construction of Shao (Guan) Xin (Feng) Expressway opened for operation, becoming another expressway connecting Shaoguan, Huizhou, and Shenzhen.

  Shaoxin Expressway is a PPP project jointly constructed by China Railway Fourth Bureau Group, China Railway Transportation Investment Group, China Railway Second Institute Engineering Group, and Shaoguan Municipal Government. The starting point is located at Xinliang House, Xinjiang Town, Wengyuan County, and the ending point is located at Longmen, Huizhou City. Liantang, Lantian Township, County, with a total length of 85.29 kilometers, adopts two-way six-lane standard construction, and is connected to the 4 expressways of Beijing-Zhuhai, Shankun, Daguang, and Wushen.

There are 49 bridges and 9 tunnels across the line, with a bridge-to-tunnel ratio of nearly 47%. 11 interchanges and 2 service areas are set up across the line. The Songshan Tunnel is the longest highway tunnel in Guangdong Province and is a key control project across the line.
