Dubai Airports reopens Terminal 1 from 24 June

Dubai Airports announced the reopening of Terminal 1 and Concourse D as of June 24, as stated by the Dubai Government Media Office through its official account on the social networking site "Twitter".

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Airports, said, as the media office mentioned via Twitter, "The aviation sector in Dubai has been our top priority as part of a global campaign to restore vital air services and open travel corridors that do not require quarantine between the UAE United Arab Emirates and many countries around the world.

His Highness added that this opening is part of the airport's preparations to accommodate the expected growth in travel demand.

His Highness continued, "The opening of Terminal 1 will allow the gradual return of more than 40 international airlines to their headquarters, which are currently operating their flights in Terminals 2 and 3."
