<Anchor> The

GTX-C line, a metropolitan express railway, connects the north-south section of about 75km from Yangju in the northern part of Gyeonggi-do to Suwon through Seoul.

The existing plan had 10 stops, and Wangsimni Station and Indeokwon Station are more likely to be added.

As the preferred negotiator for this project is selected, the real estate around the route is also shaking.

By Kim Jung-woo, staff reporter.

<Reporter> The

price of apartments near Indeokwon Station, where the GTX-C station is likely to be built, is already on a steep rise.

[A brokerage office near Indeokwon Station: At least 5,000, at most 100 million (raised).

The owners are collecting all the things now.]

In Dongan-gu, Anyang, where Indeokwon Station is located, the increase rate of apartment sales last week was 0.99%, the highest in the country, and the increase is expected to continue due to expectations for GTX-C.

There are also areas where there is resistance.

Residents of Eunma Apartment in Seoul, where the GTX-C line is likely to pass underground, say they are concerned about safety because it is an old apartment, even if it is built at a depth of 40 to 50 meters underground.

[Eunma Apartment Resident: Even in Handong, the crack has just gone, and there is an iron pole in this place.]

[Eunma Apartment Resident: No matter how deep the waves are, we are anxious.

It was struck by lightning.]

Residents near Cheongnyangni Station, which is only 2.3 km away from the newly constructed Wangsimni Station, are also dissatisfied.

This is because the train speed may be lower than expected due to the reduced interval between stations.

[Residents near Cheongnyangni Station: Originally, I decided to go straight from Cheongnyangni to Samseong Station.

Do you want to add something to a place where transportation is already convenient?]

Some residents of the new apartment building, which have not yet started moving in, even hung up protest banners.

A situation in which the interests of local residents conflict over the GTX route.

Local public opinion is boiling over whether the GTX-D route, which will be confirmed at the end of this month, connects Gimpo, Buman, or expands to Gangnam as it is.

GTX, which is promoted to control house prices by activating the supply of housing in the metropolitan area through resolving traffic congestion, is a spark for residents' conflict and house price instability.
