have reached a pre-agreement with Telefónica for what will be the operator's fifth collective agreement in which
teleworking
will be regulated
and salaries will improve by 1%. "From CCOO and UGT we consider a large part of our demands achieved," the unions say in a statement, although they affirm that they must submit the offer to the approval of their internal bodies for the signing of the agreement with the company, if applicable, in the next meeting between the parties.
For the organizations, the extension of the current agreement with all the guarantees was essential, as well as receiving a salary increase of around 1.5%, including a salary guarantee clause referring to the
real
CPI
, objectives that have been achieved, according to the unions.
The company has promised to raise the wage bill by 1%, to pay a bonus of 300 euros in October 2022 and to maintain the aforementioned clause.
Telework
Likewise,
teleworking
will be expanded when the pandemic ends to a potential of 10,000 workers, to be joined by a mobility work model applicable to another 5,000 employees, which will govern a principle of universality whenever the worker's position allows it.
In addition, the company will implement new formulas such as the
flexible bonus week
and ensures a minimum of two days of
teleworking
, compared to the day insured in the previous agreement.
The company will carry out a pilot of a
flexible bonus week
, an alternative work format that improves the possibilities of reconciliation and encourages its use through the bonus, set at 20% of the fixed remuneration items.
The unions have transferred their "wish" that, once the pilot, which will take place between October and December, is finished, the model be consolidated according to the criteria of voluntariness, reversibility and universality.
This number of teleworked days can be increased to three or four and even a full week in fortnightly periods.
Along the same lines, the worker's second home will be recognized for this.
Teleworking will be reversible at the initiative of the company or the employee and will be automatically renewed in periods of one year, unless a complaint is made by one of the parties with one month's notice.
Likewise, the time the company has to resolve a

request is reduced from two months to one month

In addition, the reactivation of the Talentum Program has been approved, despite the reluctance of the company and the renunciation of the closure of low occupancy centers.
