A partnership between "fly Dubai" and "Al Hosn" to facilitate the smooth flow of passenger traffic
flydubai announced its partnership with Al Hosn, the UAE's official application for tracking and identifying health tests related to Covid-19, and to provide its passengers with digital verification of medical records related to the Corona virus when traveling from the UAE.
Fly Dubai passengers, who are citizens, residents and visitors of the country, can now use the Al Hosn application when completing their travel procedures without having to submit a hard copy of the negative “Covid-19” test result when traveling from Dubai.
This service will be available to flydubai passengers departing from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, and later this service will be implemented for flydubai flights departing from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, where it is currently under development for the future phases of the program.
Announcing this partnership, Hamad Obaidullah, Chief Commercial Officer of flydubai, said: “We thank the operators of Al Hosn for their partnership and support in implementing the digital verification service for our passengers, and we are pleased to become the first airline to provide this service to its passengers, with the continued increase in demand. To travel, and flydubai is committed to providing its passengers with more facilities and services to make their journey easier and more comfortable, the Al Hosn app helps us achieve this goal in a smooth, safe and efficient manner.”
The Al Hosn program was developed in the UAE, a joint initiative between the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and local health authorities, and was approved by the National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority.
It is the official app for the UAE and provides quick access to COVID-19 test results and information related to vaccination.
The flydubai passenger experience has also been redesigned to enable travel in a safe environment that minimizes crew and passenger contact and provides travelers with the confidence to travel every step of their journey.
Passengers who book a flight through flydubai.com will receive free global insurance coverage for COVID-19 related costs to provide greater peace of mind when traveling.
