  The Ganshen High-speed Railway is the southernmost part of China’s “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high-speed railway planning network. It has a total length of 436.37 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.   In order to ensure the smooth track laying of the Guangdong section of the Ganshen high-speed railway, under the careful planning of the Shenzhen Engineering Construction Headquarters, the China Railway Fourth Bureau Ganshen Railway 5 Standard Project Headquarters invested 4 sets of jointly developed railway ballasted and non-ballasted track laying integrated track laying units , To realize the free switching between ballasted and ballastless traction modes, and conveniently and quickly complete the track-laying operation of the combination of the section line and the line in the station, which comprehensively improves the efficiency of the track-laying operation, and ensures the quality of construction and the construction period of the node.

  In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of the engineering line construction, the Shenzhen Engineering Construction Headquarters adopts the engineering line dispatching and command system to carry out all-round and three-dimensional management of the on-site vehicle dispatching, and effectively cope with complex engineering such as long engineering line management intervals and multi-unit crossing operations. In addition, on the basis of ensuring the safety of traffic on the engineering line, the efficiency of traffic scheduling has been greatly improved.

At the same time, it formulated and issued the "Gan-Shen Railway Engineering Line Construction Management Measures" to clarify the engineering line transportation and construction safety management, standardize the engineering line transportation and on-site safety management and control, and dispatch one engineering line construction control officer and on-site control staff every 8 kilometers across the line. On-site protection personnel are arranged at each operation point to keep an eye on the scene to ensure construction, driving and personal safety.

  The Ganshen high-speed rail is expected to be completed and open to traffic at the end of 2021.
