Mainly exported to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries.

  Qiu Lanying, deputy director of the Huizhou Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau, stated that Huizhou is one of China’s important lychee export bases. At present, there are 14 lychee export orchards in Huizhou, of which Huiyang has approved 4, Huizhou’s 4 lychee processing plants, and Huiyang’s 3 .

In terms of lychee exports, last year, 2,200 tons of lychee in Huizhou were exported to North America, East Asia and Southeast Asia countries such as Canada, South Korea, and Singapore.

This year, the Guangdong Provincial and Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade is actively helping Huizhou City to broaden its lychee export market channels. Currently, it is connecting with Kenya, Malaysia and other countries.

  The reporter learned that Zhenlong Town, Huiyang District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province is not only the largest litchi production town in Huiyang, but also one of the industry demonstration sites of "One Village, One Product, One Town, One Industry" in Huizhou.

The town is located in a subtropical monsoon climate zone, with a history of more than 300 years of planting lychees, with sufficient sunshine, abundant rainfall, suitable average temperature, and the soil contains a variety of minerals, which provides an excellent environment for the growth of lychees. The color of lychees produced is as Danish Xia, thick flesh and small nucleus, delicious, sweet but not greasy, and excellent taste. It has bred high-quality lychee varieties such as "Nuo Mi Cong" and "Gui Wei" that are well-known all over the world. "Zhenlong Lychee" has also become a famous brand in lychee. The product was awarded the National Geographical Indication of Agricultural Products in 2017.

In 2019, it successfully ranked among the first batch of national-level regional public brands of agricultural products.

In 2020, Zhenlong Litchi Production Association won the China Good Agricultural Practice Certificate.

Recently, Zhenlong Town was officially awarded the title of "China's Litchi Township" by the China Economic Forest Association.

  "I eat 300 lychees every day, and I will grow up to be a native of Lingnan."

In Zhenlong, every household grows litchi. At present, the town's litchi planting area is about 43,000 mu, and litchi is one of the main sources of income for farmers in the town.

It is estimated that Zhenlong will produce 8,000 tons of litchi this year.

  Wu Tianle, president of the Zhenlong Lychee Association, said that this year, Zhenlong lychees are priced at 15 yuan per catty, and e-commerce is expected to be 30 yuan per catty.

At present, Zhenlong lychees are mainly sold to the Mainland and Hong Kong, and the foreign markets are mainly concentrated in the Middle East, Japan and Southeast Asia.
